In the dead of winter, when most crews had packed up their tools and sought warmth indoors, Down Home Construction was just getting started. The customer had a vision—a sprawling 565-square-foot Trex deck—and they weren’t about to let a little snow and ice stand in the way.

The property, nestled in a quiet neighborhood, had a backyard with a view worth showcasing. The customer wanted a space that felt like an extension of their home, where they could sit back, relax, and take it all in. We delivered exactly that.

The Build

Working through freezing temperatures, our crew battled the elements to bring this project to life. Ice-crusted lumber, bitter winds, and the occasional snowfall didn’t slow us down—because Down Home Construction builds year-round.
